Food 🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩 out of 5

We were able to try several of Alstadt’s Ale House’s staples. Here’s what we thought:

Fried Pickles
Golden, crispy, and not at all soggy (a rare win in the fried pickle world). They came with a house made ranch that was good enough to bottle.

Buffalo Wings
Bone-in and sauced just right — not drowning, not dry. Perfectly tangy with a nice bite of heat.

John Brown Burger
This one’s a star. Stacked with quality ingredients and a fried egg that makes it brunch-worthy. Juicy, flavorful, and rich without being too heavy.

El Jefe
Even if pork isn’t usually your go-to, this sandwich could convert you. Thin, crispy tenderloins meet creamy pimento cheese — an unexpected but perfect match.

Reuben
A must-try. The corned beef is homemade and shredded, giving it a rustic, hearty texture you don’t get from your average deli. Every bite was tender, tangy, and satisfying.

Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ out of 5

Between the killer food, top-tier service, and peaceful mountain views, Alstadt’s Ale House is one of those places that instantly feels like a favorite. It’s unpretentious but thoughtful, with enough character in both the menu and the space to keep things interesting.
