One of my favorite places to meet up with some girlfriends for dinner and drinks is at Paladin Woolen Mill or P2 in Clearbrook, Virginia. It’s a contemporary space with a diverse menu featuring a range of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and entrées, and plenty of cocktails, beers, and wines. Although it hosts a long bar, it also comes across as family friendly. It is one of my go-to spots, and I can’t get enough of it.

Ambience 🧑🍳 🧑🍳 🧑🍳 🧑🍳 out of 5
I am a big fan of the ambience at P2. The rustic atmosphere is welcoming, but versatile. It has things like exposed wooden beams, vintage industrial décor, and warm, inviting lighting. It is clean and spacious and even offers a large outdoor patio space when the weather is nice. Although I’ve never been to P2 during live performances, they do offer live music on some weekends. Also, P2 is conveniently located right next to Clearbrook Park, so on a nice day, it would be easy to enjoy P2 and then take a relaxing walk around the beautiful park.

P2 offers a diverse selection of beverages. From craft beers to wines and signature cocktails, most anyone can find something they like on the menu. P2 has a variety of draft and bottled beers, with an emphasis on regional craft options. Their wine list is curated and features both red and white varieties, suitable for pairing with meals or enjoying on their own. The creative, house-made cocktails blend classic recipes with unique twists. I personally really enjoy their sangria, which changes daily. When I last went, the sangria was white wine based with fresh strawberries.

The last time I went, I opted for the blackened chicken wrap with French fries. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the corn slaw and pico de gallo went well with the avocado ranch. The crispy tortilla strips give it a great crunch.
