Breakfast is my favorite meal to eat at a restaurant. There is nothing better than finding a cozy breakfast place to get a fresh, homemade meal. We recently discovered Charlotte’s Café in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Although they serve breakfast and lunch, we stopped for breakfast. This is about an hour drive for us, so my only regret is that we do not live closer! My husband and I both agreed that this is a top breakfast option for us.

The prices at Charlotte’s Café are standard for breakfast. Meals range from about $9 to about $14. The quality and taste of the food is great here, so I was happy to pay these prices for our delicious meals. I feel this is a very affordable option for a great breakfast!

Berkeley Springs is a special place, but I also really liked Charlotte’s Café. It is cozy and gives off cabin or cottage vibes. It is also a family-owned restaurant, and you can really tell. You are well taken care of at Charlotte’s Café. Overall, it’s a homey restaurant and fits in perfectly to the surrounding area.

The menu has many traditional breakfast items, but we choose to order the breakfast tacos, the southwest scramble bowl, and the banana bread French toast. The breakfast tacos were amazing! The chorizo was packed with flavor and not super spicy. You can probably ask for the sunny side eggs to be made another way but the beans and everything else just mixed perfectly.

The southwest scramble bowl was filled with eggs, chorizo sausage, caramelized peppers and onions, and pepper jack cheese. It also comes with toast. This bowl was filled with flavor, and I would order it again!

The banana Bread French toast is some of the most amazing soft/spongy French toast I’ve ever had. The bread itself is banana bread, and it was packed full of flavor. It was toddler approved by my almost 2-year-old. I imagine the regular French toast is also amazing.

We had a great time at Charlotte’s Café. From the exceptional service to the amazing food, and the mountain views, Charlotte’s Café captures the essence of Berkeley Springs. It is a place I would recommend to anyone traveling in the area. It’s a staple in the community, and it’s easy to see why once you have experienced Charlotte’s Café.
