When I heard that our area had a brand-new gelato place, I couldn’t wait to try it! I love ice cream, but especially gelato, and it’s typically hard to find. In fact, I think the only time I’ve ever had gelato was on vacation. So, I was eager to get my family out to try this exciting, new place.
Right from the start, I had high hopes! I noticed a lot of games, like the large connect four, inside and outside of the restaurant. It was bright and inviting and we were met with friendly staff and a lot of gelato flavors. Luckily, we were able to try samples, so we were able to really pick our favorite flavors for cups (they also have cones).

A Lot O’ Gelato is very reasonably priced, especially for the quality of the gelato. It is comparable to other local ice cream spots in the area. For two medium cups we paid just over $10. The cups were packed full, and we were able to pick two different flavors. It was more than enough; I even shared with my son. They also have add-ons, like a variety of candies, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, etc. which were priced fairly. You get a good bang for your buck here and the prices seem rather standard for the industry.

I really loved this cute little gelato shop! The bright colors, neon lights, and tons of games made this place so fun. Not to mention, it was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They answered our questions and were more than happy to let us try as many samples as we wanted.
This is a great place for a date or a family outing. My son loved playing with the oversized connect four, but they had many other games as well. It’s not always easy to take a toddler out to eat, but my husband and I were able to enjoy our gelato because he was occupied playing games with us. So, I give it extra points for that. However, I could also see just my husband and I going here to enjoy the gelato and play other tabletop games. There were a lot of options! I was just so impressed with the shop. It felt very well thought out and is a place you can hang out at.

The gelato was flavorful and tasty. It had just enough sweetness and was so fresh. I tried the coffee chocolate chip, which was great, but I did not want the caffeine in the evening, so I opted for the strawberry swirl and the banana dulce de leche. The fruit came through perfectly; you could instantly tell it was made with real fruit, not artificial flavors. My husband picked the blue cookie monster, which was made with Oreos, and the peanut butter cup, which had big peanut butter cups in it! The owner did let us know that the flavors do switch out, so keep in mind they may not have those same flavors every day. They also carry sorbet and even had a vegan flavor.
A Lot O’ Gelato also had a wall of different candies to top off your gelato, from chocolate candies to gummy candies. They have different types of cones, but you can opt for a cup as, too. They sell cookies, as well. We didn’t try them, but they look appetizing in the case.

Overall, I’m so glad our area has this new gelato shop! I cannot say enough good things about it, from the actual gelato to the building to the staff. I can see this place being a staple for us, especially during those warm summer nights!
